BREXIT WHY — AND WHERE NOW?

Here we are after four and a half long years, out of the EU and with little good to show for it.

I had for many years been anti the EU for a lot of reasons, many of which still exist today — but I never wanted it to cease to exist nor for the UK to stop being a member. What I did want was for it and its democratic credentials to be improved, updated, and for us, the people to feel that we had far more knowledge about its workings as well as influence over the way it worked and its decision making process.
